Who we work with
HITA is an independent trust. We work with government, civil society, researchers and the private sector, and we are not owned or directed by any of them.
We work with the Government of Himachal Pradesh, the Manmohan Singh Himachal Institute for Public Administration (HIPA), and Palampur Municipal Corporation, inside processes those institutions own.
Local organisations helped write our working documents. Three partner NGOs are building the Palampur waste model on the ground.
