HITA gives pro-bono advice to NGOs, government departments and research organisations to help them work more effectively, from anti-drug campaigns to elderly care.
The idea
Part of being an ecosystem enabler is making other organisations more effective in their own work. HITA’s advisers provide pro-bono support to NGOs, government departments and research bodies, connecting them to expertise they would otherwise struggle to reach.
Gary Care Society, Nurpur
HITA is helping Gary Care Society plan and run its anti-drugs campaign more effectively, and connected the society to volunteer experts who provided technical inputs.
WinAge
HITA is exploring how to improve care for the elderly in Himachal, including more focused geriatric care, while creating longer-term jobs for young people in the health-service space. WinAge brings experience of working with central and state governments, multilateral organisations, the corporate sector and non-profits.
